History of the building
The imposing, tiled-roofed building of the manorial Magtár was built in the 18th century. The building was designed to hold 7,000 Pozsony bushels, providing storage capacity for approximately 439,600 litres of liquid or 325,920 kilograms of grain.
The modern event hall
The four-story building today serves a multifunctional purpose, such as a tourist information point, a venue for conferences and community events with its rentable rooms, and an exceptional venue for quality catering and wine tastings.

Focusing on premium events, Magtár Restaurant awaits those who are looking for the ideal venue for their corporate or private programs or groups visiting Pécs with a wide range of gastronomic and tourist services.
In the case of such requests, the final menu, the selection of drinks, the image of the event, the setting and decoration perfectly adapted to its atmosphere are developed in close cooperation with the customer, taking into account all needs. The restaurant only provides gastronomic catering for events, it does not have permanent opening hours or an a’ la carte menu.
