Guided tours
The tour of the Treasury and the Bishop’s Palace is completed by guided tours in Hungarian at fixed times. In the case of these occasions, the cost of the tour is already included in the entrance ticket, so our visitors do not have to pay a separate guide fee.
We charge a separate guide fee for visits at times other than the fixed times.
An audio guide is available for our foreign visitors on the fixed-time tours.
At other times and at other locations, guided tours in Hungarian and foreign languages are also available by prior arrangement.
With the little ones in mind, we offer guided tours in the Cathedral accompanied by a “Bonifác puppet” specially designed for kindergarten children.
The tour fee is per location/group, puppet tour is available from 5 people, the fee is per person.
In case of a group exceeding 45 people, 2 tour guides are required. A guide request must be notified by e-mail 48 hours before the visit to the e-mail address latogatas@pecs.egyhazmegye.hu.
In addition to the guided tour, an audio guide is available in the Cathedral, and a tablet Visual Guide is available in the Gázi Kászim Pasha Mosque, which can be used for a separate fee of 500 HUF.
