Museum walking tour

Visit the locations (Cathedral, the Dzsámi, the Treasury and the Bishop’s Palace) in an experiential way.

The activity sheet designed for individuals, groups and families invite visitors to the Bishopric of Pécs to get to know them in a playful way. During the tour of the sites, you can experience the sights of the Cathedral, the Dzsámi, the Treasury and the Bishop’s Palace with the help of various tools (binoculars, pocket-lamp, compass, magnifying glass).

Important information for the Museum walking Tour:

The activity sheets are worksheets that encourage children to explore the sites independently. The colleagues working at the Pécs Bishopric Information Point will be happy to help with any technical questions that arise, but the staff members do not participate in the program as facilitators.
We ask group leaders to read the downloadable teacher’s guide for the given museum walking tour before the visit!
The last stop of the walking tours entitled Everyone on Board and Talking Pictures is the tower lookout. We ask teachers not to allow children to go up the tower without supervision.
The necessary equipment will be provided for the duration of the game at the information points of the venues against a photo ID deposit.
Activity sheets can be requested after purchasing an entrance ticket to the venues.

ACTIVITY SHEET THAT TOURS ALL THE SITES OF THE BISHOP’S OFFICE

• The activity sheet is primarily designed for groups of young adults between the ages of 14-18 and/or those who are playful. We invite them to an exciting detective game at the places of interest of the Bishopric of Pécs. The sheet covers four locations: the Cathedral, the Bishop’s Treasury, the Mosque and the Bishop’s Palace. The four locations can be visited in any order.

• Age-specific for the 14-18 year old age group and/or for playful young adult groups. The solution key can be downloaded here.

ACTIVITY SHEETS AVAILABLE FOR FAMILIES

The activity sheet invites families visiting the places of interest of the Bishopric of Pécs to an exciting puzzle-solving game. The sheet covers four locations: the Cathedral, the Bishop’s Treasury, the Mosque and the Bishop’s Palace. The tasks have been put together in such a way that each member of the family can find the one that suits them and can help each other discover the sights.

The four locations can be visited in any order.

The necessary tools will be provided at the information points of the locations for the duration of the game. If you have any questions about the activity sheets, please contact our colleagues at the information point. The activity sheets come with teacher manual and solution keys. Additional information for the pass:

The museum pedagogical session can be canceled at least 48 hours before the visit. Otherwise, the customer is obliged to pay 50% of the price of the ordered program.
For classes with more than 25 people, group division may be necessary, which will incur additional costs.
We ask that you notify us of the dates for the academic year within one month of purchasing the museum education pass, so that we can ensure the classes.
Please notify us of any changes at least 2 weeks before the booked date.
