Located in the heart of Pécs, right next to the Cathedral, the four-story Magtár Event Center welcomes guests with a café, a terrace overlooking the Cathedral, conference rooms, and an event restaurant.
The Franciscan monastery next to the Máriagyűd church was built in 1739 in Baroque style with donations from the faithful and the support of the Batthyány family. The monastery was renovated and transformed into a pilgrim reception center by the Bishopric of Pécs in 2003.
Pilgrim accommodation in one of the most beautiful corners of the Mecsek. A total of 33 beds across two floors, in rooms sleeping 2 to 6 people.
Beyond dining, it provides an excellent venue for board games, craft activities, and more.
The Petri György Pilgrim Accommodation is located 0.7 km from the northern end of the Máriakéménd settlement in the park of the Church of the Assumption, a listed monastery building (GPS 46’ 03899, 18’ 45629). In the two-story building, the guest rooms are upstairs, and the kitchen and other service areas are on the ground floor.
