OUR CURRENT ALL-DAY PROGRAM FOR SPRINGBREAK:

• Adventure in the Treasury – camp day
• Location: Bishop’s Treasury (Káptalan Street 6.)
• Date: 2026. 04. 08. (Wednesday)
• Duration: 9 hours (7.30-16.30)
• Participation fee: 7500 HUF
• Age group: 7–12 years

On this day we will explore everything: from the depths of the secret tunnels to the shining halls. Challenging tasks await enterprising treasure hunters in the Bishop’s Treasury: with the help of secret codes, audio recordings and maps, they can set off on the trail of the hidden treasure chest and the treasures that have mysteriously disappeared.

In the morning we spend time with a playful treasure hunt, and in the afternoon everyone can make their own treasure.

Recommended age group: 5-7 years old

We set off on a journey of discovery with Bonifác, the “resident” of the Cathedral; his griffin cub and we set off in search of animals that strayed from Noah’s ark.

We discover how many animals live in the secret hiding places of the Cathedral! We close the second half of the program with a creative activity so that everyone returns home with their own Bonifác.

Adventure in the Treasury

• Recommended age group: 7-11 years old

A challenging task awaits enterprising investigators in the Bishop’s Treasury: with the help of secret codes, audio recordings and maps, they will set out on the trail of the hidden treasure chest and the treasures that have mysteriously disappeared.

• Location: Treasury

Additional information:

• The duration of the activity is 1.5 hours.
• Maximum number of people: 25 people
• Minimum number of people: 10 people

The price of the activity is 1500 HUF/child, which can be purchased at the information desk of the Magtár Visitor Center before the program, according to the number of children actually participating.

The group can be accompanied by two parents, free of charge, during the program. We do not recommend the presence of more than two parents at the activity!

Cake tasting at the Magtár Café

Cake tasting, coffee, tea, and other pastries are also available at the Magtár Café, where a wide selection of coffee, tea, and pastries is also available.

Magtár has a capacity of 45 people, so for more than 20 people it is worth renting the café, which costs 20,000 HUF/hour.

The café is located on the ground floor of Magtár, and its garden offers a magnificent view of the cathedral.

In the Magtár Café, we welcome interested teams with a unique, sophisticated and fun quiz game, which we offer on request tailored to the image of the given event.

The playful and fun entertainment opportunity encourages joint thinking and teamwork, which we are happy to recommend for the program of corporate events and team building trainings.

We undertake the organization of the game for a minimum of 15 to 100 people, led by a professional quiz master. It is also possible to order indoor and outdoor quizzes with food and drinks at our diocese locations.

In each case, we prepare a unique game program adapted to the age of the participants, and the customer can also have a say in the composition of the game.

Painting workshop

A great additional program for group excursions is the “painting workshop” of the Diocese of Pécs, which we provide adapted to the group’s visit and fit into the program.

Ceramic painting at the Bishopric of Pécs

A multitude of symbols surround us every day. Symbols are insignificant and unnoticed for most people, but they are still an inseparable part of our lives, we wear them on necklaces, rings, bracelets, and even on our clothes. The painting studio of the Bishopric of Pécs brings the visitor closer to the incomparably rich world of motifs and symbols of the Cathedral, the Dzmámi, or the Bishop’s Treasury through the joy of creation. Our painting-based activity is based on various unique figures made of white clay, which dry in a matter of moments, so the creation can be taken home immediately. Personal gifts and memories made by yourself are not only lasting memories of playing, but also of gaining knowledge.
