HABAKUK AND HIS FRIENDS – EASTER MUSEUM EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY

In the museum educational activity for 5-7 year olds, children get to know 42nd Habakkuk, the little rabbit, and with the help of a suitcase theater, they relive the events of Holy Week and Easter together. After that, they prepare for the upcoming Easter with short games and crafts.

WHAT’S BEYOND THE RABBIT? – THE REAL GIFT OF EASTER

During the Easter museum education session, children can use a playful worksheet to find the emblematic objects of the Easter holiday in the Bishop’s Treasury exhibition. After that, we will process the events of Holy Week with the help of fine art works and lots of conversation in an age-appropriate manner. Finally, we will close the session with a craft related to the topic.

VISITING SANTA CLAUS

During the session for preschool and elementary school age groups, we will transform into elves and visit Santa Claus’ house. With the help of a suitcase theater and many games, we will get to know the legend of Saint Nicholas, and finally we will create special things in the Elf Workshop.

ANGEL WATCHING IN THE CATHEDRAL – ADVENT MUSEUM EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY

During the activity, we will search for angels hiding in the cathedral together, and then we will get to know them “up close” with the help of screenings, discussions and various games. After that, the children can make angels themselves using different techniques.

SNITF, LISTEN AND TOUCH! AN UNUSUAL JOURNEY INTO THE SECRETS OF CHRISTMAS

– Advent museum educational session for 7-12 year olds

What sounds could the shepherds hear and what smells could they smell in front of the manger in Bethlehem? For example, we are looking for answers to these questions in our Advent museum educational session, where we will use our senses and an artwork from the Bishop’s Treasury to recall the events of Christmas, and then the children can also participate in special creative work.
